Queen of Peace, asks that these days, even more than usual, we pray for peace in the world.

The Novena takes place before the anniversary of the first apparition of the Queen of Peace in Medžugorje, which took place on June 24, 1981.
All evenings, the novena will begin at 10 p.m. in Crnica. At the same time in the same place. Our Lady of Heaven promised that every evening of the novena she would appear to the visionary Mary.
It is a night vigil; for praying the rosary in different languages, singing.
The novena began on Sunday, June 16, 2024. Around 11:30 p.m., Saint Mary appeared to the seer Marija Pavlović-Lunetta. The sighting lasted about 7 minutes. There was silence during the apparition. After the apparition ended, the seer summarized the words of the Queen of Peace. The lady told the seer that there is a great need to pray for peace and she expects more prayers the next day. The seer said that Mary prayed in her mother tongue, Aramaic. The seer handed over all those present to Mary and asked for the blessing of all the supplicants and to hear their prayers for peace.

The media indicate the collapse of the coalition between the United States and Saudi Arabia…
Even the wars in Ukraine and Israel, although limited to a certain area, are, from the point of view of the forces involved, a world war. If there is an all-out world war, it will be bad. Children and innocent people will die. If an atomic bomb falls on Paris, Rome… these cities will be gone.
Mary asks us to pray for peace!
Prayer is the power that can prevent wars. Satan wants the destruction of man. His purpose is not only our physical death, but above all our eternal destruction. The ultimate goal of life is not peace, order and prosperity in this world, but eternal happiness in heaven. War is an ideal circumstance and opportunity for the destruction of large numbers of people. It is therefore also necessary to pray for peace in this world, for peace between nations, for peace that embraces all dimensions of life; physical, mental and spiritual.
Even in times of violence, terror, persecution and war, it is possible to build God’s kingdom and receive many graces.
In any case, even if there is a war, prayer is necessary. A prayer for courageous and upright persistence in the Christian faith, a prayer for our conversion, for the grace of repentance, for the acceptance of God’s forgiveness, for God’s closeness in moments of terror and distress. For the mercy of the “good bandit”.
Courage! In any case, God is close to us, protects us, strengthens us and comforts us. If God is for us, who is against us? “Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Is it tribulation or affliction, persecution or famine, nakedness or danger or the sword?” (Romans 8:35).
The apostle Paul says: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other thing will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our To the Lord (Romans 8, 38-39).
